I haven’t been blogging much lately. Life has been too busy. I have hardly had time to sleep (more less blog) although some people might put sleeping ahead of blogging.

Please pray for our family. Here’s a quick summary:

** My grandmother died on Sunday and I extended my trip to attend the funeral on Tuesday.

** Valerie & Kendall are very sick and the doctor said Kendall had something approaching pneumonia. Kendall has a key role in the school production of Annie on Friday so pray that she recovers in time

** I travel back to Budapest on Wed-Thurs and at this point Kirby Ann and I have a 10 hour layover in Zurich. Pray that we can survive it.

We had a great weekend and have been a little too busy to blog. On Saturday night, we traveled to Houston and on to Valerie’s house in Eagle Lake. When we woke up Sunday morning, we were surprised to be greeted by Valerie’s older sister Becky and her 7 kids. We weren’t sure if we were going to get to see them, but it worked out for them to drive from Abiliene. They arrived 15 minutes after we went to bed. We had a great day together as a family.

On Sunday night, we took Kirby Ann to a local Halloween festival complete with games, candy, prizes, and food. Here’s a picture of our favorite Poodle, Kirby Ann.

Today, we’re off to Houston. We’re having lunch with some friends at a wonderful Cajun restaurant named Papadeaux!
