Yesterday, I attended Valerie’s grandmother’s 100th Birthday. It is the second time that I’ve attended such an event without Valerie. I went to the 95th birthday as well when I just happened to be in Texas. Valerie is totally bummed out that she couldn’t make it.
We had a great time celebrating! The country cooking was wonderful as well. It was fun to see Valerie’s family and celebrate MamMaw’s 100th year. I’m already making plans to leave Valerie at home so I can go to the 105th.

Isn’t she beautiful!! She is such a sweet, dear woman of faith. I have so many memories of the weeks that I would spend at her tiny country house when I was little. She would spoil us all with love! (And she would always put a pretty scarf on our head when it was windy so we wouldn’t get sick!

Where is Budapest? It’s like this is a normal blog now… regular sports game, regular b-day parties… sheesh – get back to Booty! heehee – j/k!!
Actually, that is one heck of a cool thing.. Mammaw turns 100 and looks GOOD!!
